Once Upon A Ballet has been instrumental in teaching my child the technical elements of ballet and the joy of creative movement. Their curriculum creates a foundational love of literature, art, music, and dance alike. Their weekly costumes provide the perfect whimsy to keep all learners engaged. As a parent and educator, I love their multi-faceted lessons and talented, kid-friendly teachers. Three years later, we could not be happier with Once Upon A Ballet!

I am so grateful that a friend suggested Once Upon a Ballet for my daughter. We could not be happier, Emily is wonderful with the children and my daughter loves going each week. The class runs smoothly with nine three to four year olds because it is creative and age appropriate. I have been very impressed and plan on leaving her enrolled for the year, if not longer!

At Once Upon a Ballet, we are committed to making the student’s first experience with ballet a magical and positive one. Our facilities, curriculum and lesson plans are all prepared to provide a sound education in the fundamentals of ballet and the theatre arts. Our weekly storyballets offer each student the opportunity to express creativity, experience the joy of movement, and develop the strength and grace of a ballerina. Each instructor is trained to teach our unique curriculum and to foster the joy of dance in their students. With opportunities to grow in their dance development as well as build confidence and poise, our ballet and dance students thrive in an environment made to nurture their dreams.
The faculty at OUAB is chosen based on two criteria. A fantastic background and education in dance as well as a genuine repoire with children. If candidates meet both our artistic criteria and their dance education meet our prerequisites of either extensive study under a professional ballet company or a college degree in the field, […]
